The cybershot Sony Ericsson K850i phone has an enhanced 5 MP camera that gives a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. This camera can be use for recording the proceedings in a party or a meeting with its video recording option. There is also a secondary VGA camera that can be used for the purpose of making video calls. This allows the user to see the other party with whom he is having a conversation. The mobile functions independently without any boundaries due to its compatibility with the GSM network. This feature allows the user to carry the phone in any part of the world and yet remain connected. The K850i is 3G enabled and can also function on 2G networks.
This phone comes with some amazing pre-loaded ringtones. The user can also download ringtones of his choice from various sites from the Internet. The websites and webpages offer exclusive ringtones and the WAP browser provides an opportunity to search these sites. This device can also download documents, files, videos and pictures for the user to store them in the memory. The stored videos can be viewed on the TFT screen at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. This screen is also good for viewing of videos and pictures that are captured using the camera of the handset. All recorded file scan be stored in the 40 MB memory of the device. The stored files can also be transferred using the connectivity options such as Bluetooth that allow wireless transfer of files over different gadgets. One can also make use of cable cord to store the files in a computer or a laptop. The same is true in case the user wants to transfer games from a laptop to the phone. Hence, the user can remain entertained with these fascinating games. There are also other entertainment options in the form of the music player that can play songs in formats such as MP3, AAC and MPEG4. The Track ID music recognition allows the owners to have complete information of the track being played.
The battery of the Sony Ericsson K850i gives a standby time of 400 hr and a talktime of 9 hr. The mobile works on GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth and USB. There is a 512 MB card included with the 40 MB internal memory of the device. This memory can save wallpapers, screensavers and files that require a large storage space.
