The Sony Ericsson G700 Specifications
Sony Ericsson announced the release of the G700 last February and has announced that it will be available in the market during the 2nd quadrant of this year. It is a sleek phone with a larger 2.4 inch touch screen display and comes in one color: Silken Bronze.
It has a built-in memory of 160 MB, but is easily expandable. It is one of the more affordable Smartphones in the market today that is running on the Symbian OS Technology. It is capable of sending, receiving and storing SMS, MMS, IM, Email and Push Email.
The G700 is a Triband phone that has a secondary camera for video calling that works on UMTS 2100. Its dimensions are: 106 X 49 X 13 mm and weighs just under 100g. As you can see, it is quite a compact phone that packs a punch with all its features fitted into its small and brazen outer shell. As mentioned the 2.4 inch display is a touch screen interface that is capable of recognizing up to 256 thousand colors. The screen is also counter reflective and does well under bright lighting.

The built in memory is capable of holding up to 1000 names and stores the last 30 dialed numbers, or any received and missed calls.
This phone has Bluetooth 2.0 technology and has USB v.2 for utmost connectivity. For entertainment, it has FM radio with RDS, Media player that allows album art display. For the office, it has an impressive organizer, stopwatch, voice memo, and more. The G700 can last for up to 380 hours on standby and up to 12 hours of talk time.
